Number of pages:
17
ABSTRACT:
In seventeen pages an analysis of this book – with the emphasis primarily upon basketball – is presented. Statistical analysis considers the factors involved in team wins and player value, including player production, efficiency, and calculations generated by such criteria as defensive rebounds, assists, turnovers, etc. How the formula relates to baseball and football is also included as are the contributions of other sports economists such as Dean Oliver and John Hollinger. Five sources are listed in the bibliography.
